Religious Community Speaks Out about Same Sex Marriage Ruling

After an historic decision last week by the Supreme Court ruling Gay marriage legal in all 50 states, the religious community made up of faith-based organizations, educational institutions, and not for profits are speaking out to protect their First Amendment Rights.  The Supreme Court ruling still safeguards religious organizations so they   “may continue to advocate with utmost, sincere conviction that, by divine precepts, same-sex marriage should not be condoned” stated by U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy.  However concerns have surfaced over business owners in the public sector who consider it immoral to offer benefits for same sex spouses .  Read Full Story
